Zapier Integration

How does the integration work? With Zapier, you can automate the check-in process within 10xGoals. 10xGoals can read the metric value and the check-in comment from any tool that Zapier supports and on triggers, can automatically fetch that data and bring it in 10xGoals instantly.

Open the 10xGoals integration page by clicking here and search for the app you want to pair 10xGoals with.

Let's take google sheet example for this integration:

Step 1: Go to this 10xGoals integration page & search for "google sheets" as a pairing app. Then click on the google sheet dropdown to build the integration.

Step 2: Select a trigger for google sheets. Trigger examples are when a row is updated, when a new row is added, etc. This tells the system when to fetch the value from google sheets.

Step 3: Choose the account where you have the google sheet listed. Select the google sheet which you want to integrate with. You can test the trigger once you make all the selections.

Step 4: Once you have configured & tested the trigger on google sheet, next step is to connect to the 10xGoals account and choose the objective you want to integrate with. Only the objectives belonging to you will be shown, not all.

Step 5: For progress and check-in comments, select the appropriate column of google sheet you integrated with.

Whenever there is a change in metric value, the trigger will automatically send the metric value and check-in comment to 10xGoals as a check-in.

Status will be automatically calculated based on the metric value and expected progress at the time of the trigger.

2. Task is the number of check-ins that happen on an objective.

3. Each user can integrate upto 5 objectives of theirs for free. Few apps like salesforce, which are paid ones, needs a paid account but most of the apps are free on zapier.

4. We show only those objectives which are associated with the account used in the 10xGoals integration with zapier.
